and the School Bells Tolled

Do you enjoy Christmas break?  Of course we all do, a time of lights, carols’, shopping, gift wrapping and kids home from school.  I love the holidays, the smell of cookies baking in the oven, a sugar glazed ham roasting, an open fire burning in the fireplace.  I enjoy seeing family and wondering what amazing gift John came up with this year.  The holiday season is the only time of year I look forward to mail, love opening the little surprises of Christmas cards. 

Awe the grandness of the holidays.  Today I am fantasizing about all the extra laundry, the kids taking over the television, the additional dishes in the sink, the fighting, and the countdown to back to school.  Can’t wait for that school bell to ring today.
